Nexon announced today that a total of 5,300 people applied for the 7th Nexon Youth Programming Challenge (NYPC) and ended 'Round 1' and 'Round 2', which were online since mid-August.
This year, NYPC is a differentiated problem that contains Nexon's development know-how and a subdivided competition to expand the challenge opportunities for participants, raising expectations for young people interested in coding, and the number of candidates is the second time since 2018. I went over.
'Round 1', which was conducted as an absolute evaluation for five days from August 18 to 22, is a variety of novel issues using Nexon Game IP such as Cartrider, Crazy Arcade, and Maple Story. A total of 1,600 people who scored more than a certain score have advanced to Round 2.
NYPC, which passed 'Round 1' by about 30%of all applicants, passed 'Round 1' on August 28 and September 3, to cover the finals through 'Round 2', which was held in the form of solving problems within the time limit during the time limit. The final round was finished.
NYPC will confirm a total of 60 finalists this month and will hold an offline final at the Pangyo Nexon office on October 29.
