A game where you can experience the horror film 'Alien' based on aliens in VR has been released.
The VR game 'Alien', which opened the official site on the 15th, deals with the original story between the first and second films. This is an era before Ripley shakes Alien's attack and enters the frozen surface, and after 57 years, it is likely to be set in the background of the LV-426 or the space station where humanity was in the process of terraforming.
The game is being developed for single play using Unreal Engine 5, and the genre known to date is 'fear'. Game videos and in-game screenshots are still unpublished, and more details on the game will be announced at San Diego Comiccon 2022, which will open on the 21st (local time).
Meanwhile, Survios, a VR 'Alien' developer, has produced a Working Dead-based VR game 'Walking Dead On Slot'. The game received a good score in terms of graphics and action, but was criticized in game balance and storytelling and recorded a steam evaluation 'complex'. Alien is expected to offset these shortcomings.
