In the competition Netflix, the genre is also popular, controversial headlines and huge interest produced the streaming service with 365 Days and the recently published successor 365 Day - This Day.
Pleasure is also a big film with a lot of nudity and sex. However, less tingling entertainment with a suitable penny script is on the plan, but rather film art, visual playfulness and thematic depth - together with various porn stars, which underline the realism of the 108 -minute story. Anyone who now thinks that Pleasure paints an enormously dark and one -dimensional image of the porn industry is wrong. The feature film, which Ninja Thyberg presented as a short film in 2013, never puts a moral classification of the camera lens.
Instead, there is a lot of naked space for the blind, but also fulfilled passion, brutal misery, heartwarming friendships and - particularly strong - blatant contradictions that always move our perspective when we thought.
However, the contradictions can never be found in the Bella created for the lustful eyes of the world, nor in Linnéa's character or her focused action. Rather, it is the discrepancy between the two characters, with which Thyberg captivates the complexity of a socially unexplored industry in a refreshing way and puts it into the light.
