What does the Hyperx Cloud Alpha Wireless offer?

New Wireless- version for PS4 & PS5: In the wired version, the Hyperx Cloud Alpha has long been one of the most popular gaming headsets on the market because it offers good quality at a comparatively moderate price. The recently released wireless version is compatible using a USB connector with PC, PS4 and PS5. It does not have alternative connection options via Bluetooth or 3.5 mm plug.

A maximum of 300 hours of battery life: According to the manufacturer, the Hyperx Cloud Alpha Wireless offers up to 300 hours of battery life. However, this only applies at half the volume. At full volume, the headset in the GameStar test lasted around 170 hours, which is still very long. For comparison: The official PS5 headset Sony Pulse 3D lasts about 12 hours.

Sound: The most important thing is, of course, that the Wireless version of the Hyperx Cloud Alpha also offers good sound. Especially with the mids and basses, it cuts off very well. The heights are a little weaker, but still good compared to most gaming headsets. Overall, the Cloud Alpha Wireless is slightly better than the wired variant. The removable microphone also cuts off well, there is no large difference in quality for the wireless version.
