A veteran leaves the developer studio Relic Entertainment after 24 years of corporate affiliation. As can be seen from a report of the colleagues of Around, it is the design Director Quinn Duffy. Most recently, he was involved in working for the real-time strategy game Age of Empires 4 (from 53.99 € for sale), which came to the market in October of this year.
On his LinkedIn profile, he was briefly coming to his departure after so many years: I am very proud of the work of the team on Age of Empires 4. At RELIC, I had the passion for both history and the genre of real-time Strategy. Therefore, I could not have been happier to help create a new part of this as well as the iconic brand.
During his career at Relic Entertainment Quinn Duffy has worked on numerous games. These include, among other things, the two previously published episodes of Company of Heroes, Space Marine and Impossible Creatures. With all these titles he was involved as a designer or even as responsible Game Director. Reasons for his departure are not known yet.
